Industrial Maintenance Engineer - 1st Shift (7:00AM-3:00PM)

SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our manufacturing equipment and systems. This role focuses on analyzing, designing, and improving maintenance processes, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Engineer will work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to ensure operational excellence across our facilities.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze equipment performance, identify root causes of failures, and develop engineering solutions to improve reliability.
  • Design, implement, and optimize maintenance strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with production, safety, and engineering teams to support operational goals and equipment upgrades.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of capital projects, new equipment installations, and facility improvements.
  • Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, and technical specifications.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, materials, and equipment to support maintenance and process improvements.
  • Ensure all engineering and maintenance work complies with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and lower maintenance costs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
  • 3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on maintenance or engineering support.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, machinery, automation systems, and facility operations.
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., EMaint) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

WORK ENVIRONMENT  
Inside, well-lit, and climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
COMPENSATION $45 - $47 per hour DOE

MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND WORK AIDS 
Working knowledge of manufacturing machines and inspection equipment.
