CNC Maintenance Mechanical (3rd shift)

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role includes performing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Operate forklifts, hydraulic lifts, and other mechanical lifting equipment safely and effectively.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, inspections, and repairs performed.
  • Follow safety guidelines and support company safety initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in equipment installation, setup, and modifications as needed.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, trade school, or relevant certification preferred.
  • Proven experience with preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, hydraulic and mechanical lifts.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and controls is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND WORK AIDS 
Working knowledge of manufacturing machines and inspection equipment. 
COMPENSATION: $36 - $42.43 per hour DOQ plus Shift Premium (3rd shift $1.80)
