Production Support III - 1st Shift, (9:00AM - 5:00PM)

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Support III role in Impax is responsible for supporting production operations through a variety of critical finishing and material handling functions, including:

  • Polishing
  • Laser marking
  • Inspection
  • Packaging
  • Sending and receiving items to and from coatings
  • End-of-day shipping support

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Go through all finish stock items and check for shortages (Cycle Counting)
  • Maintains refill or restart order accuracy
  • Fills Stock orders based on customer demand
  • Measure parts for accuracy before finish stock orders are received into warehouse
  • Work with various cells within the division to ensure continuity
  • Receive from vendors misc items or processed parts
  • Process purchase orders as product is sent to outside vendors
  • Change production order quantities based on inventory turn goals
  • Work with purchasing department on material procurement
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Experience in tooling measurement and quality inspection
  • Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Ability to use inspection tools
  • Knowledge of cycle counting is a plus
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft office, typing, 10 key, and internet navigation
  • Ability to learn Excel and/or SAP if needed

WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time; 1st shift (8:00AM – 4:00PM)
 
COMPENSATION
PS III payscale $25.33-$32.35 per hour DOQ
