Job Summary
Punching Product Manager will be a member of the product management/marketing team. Responsible for understanding the fabrication industry and punching markets Wilson Tool serves in order to identify new ways in which Wilson Tool products or services can be used. You will lead the growth and product life cycle management of the punching portfolio.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Support Wilson Tool profitability and accelerated growth plan initiatives.
- Skillfully researches, analyzes, and applies market intelligence to support, expand, and sometimes modify product lines.
- Understands the Punching product offering and works as the Punching Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the marketing and cross-functional teams including content/digital asset management.
- Identifies, prioritizes and launches new products, programs and services. Including, positioning, pricing and go-to -market strategies. Estimate sales, develop business case/project scope and create sales training.
- Implement and/or participate in global portfolio alignment within Wilson Tool global locations and non-Wilson Tool branded entities
- Communicates product information effectively and knowledgeably with all areas of the company, including Marketing, R&D, Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering and Executive Leadership.
- Develop and maintain the punching product roadmap by synthesizing factory capabilities with customer journey maps, identifying customer pain points from setup to long-term maintenance.
- Translate "Voice of the Customer" (VoC) data into technical requirements that improve the physical touchpoints of the portfolio.
- Oversee the customer experience lifecycle, managing ideation to post purchase touchpoints
- Collaborate and conduct joint activities with OEM, Key Account and Sales Management
- Assess market competitors and industry changes
- Builds needed cross-functional collaboration and teamwork throughout all phases of product life cycle.
- Portfolio price management, using price/value mapping, pocket pricing and price band analysis. Includes working with regional leaders, sales, finance and other stakeholders to establish annual price adjustments and global pricing corridors.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business or Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
- Punching product line knowledge is preferred.
- Competencies in analysis, strategic planning and execution
- Must possess a strong detail-orientation, and possess a strong team-orientation
- Business-to-business or industrial marketing experience.

Work Environment
Inside; Office and some manufacturing floor. Some travel required.
