SUMMARY
The Production Support Associate is an integral part of our division's operations, providing essential support to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. This entry-level role involves assisting various departments within the division as directed by the hiring manager. Duties may include but are not limited to material handling, assembly tasks, inventory management, and general support functions. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to the overall success of the division while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.

ROLE OBJECTIVE:
The objective of the Production Support Associate role is to provide dependable and proactive assistance to the division's operations. By fulfilling assigned tasks and supporting various departments within the division, the incumbent contributes to maintaining productivity and achieving organizational goals. This entry-level position serves as a foundational role for individuals looking to gain experience and develop skills in a dynamic work environment. The ultimate aim is to support the division's success by executing assigned duties effectively and efficiently under the direction of the hiring manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Material Handling: Assist in the movement of materials between departments, ensuring timely and accurate transfer to support ongoing production activities.
•    Assembly Tasks: Participate in assembling component parts according to provided instructions, contributing to the manufacturing process as needed.
•    Inventory Management: Aid in maintaining inventory accuracy by conducting counts, organizing storage areas, and assisting with inventory reconciliation efforts.
•    General Support Functions: Perform various tasks as directed by the hiring manager, which may include but are not limited to cleaning work areas, preparing materials for production, or assisting in equipment setup.
•    Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
•    Adherence to Procedures: Follow established procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
•    Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities and assignments as determined by the hiring manager, demonstrating a willingness to assist in different areas as needed.
•    Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, inventory levels, and any issues encountered during tasks, providing necessary documentation as required.
•    Continuous Improvement: Actively seek opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity within assigned tasks, suggesting ideas for process enhancements or workflow optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.    High School Diploma or GED: Completion of high school education or equivalent is required to fulfill the educational requirement for this entry-level position.
2.    Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and engage in repetitive lifting tasks, as the role may involve manual labor and physical exertion.
3.    Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer operations, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (such as Word, Excel, and Outlook), typing, and internet navigation.
4.    Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrated mechanical abilities and aptitude for working with tools and equipment, as well as the ability to comprehend and follow instructions for assembly tasks.
5.    Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing assigned tasks, ensuring that materials are handled and assembled correctly according to specifications.
6.    Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and environments, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to take on different tasks as directed by the hiring manager.

Work Environment:

Work Schedule:
Full time: Monday – Friday, typically day shift, determined by business need.
o    1st  SHIFT: 7:00a.m.-3:00p.m. or 8:00a.m.-4:00p.m.  

CERTIFICATES. LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS –As needed or required by management. (May include any of the following) 

•    Forklift Operator Certification: Possession of a valid forklift operator certification, or willingness to obtain certification through provided training, is advantageous for roles involving material handling or equipment operation.
•    Safety Training Certificates: Completion of safety training courses or certifications, such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) training, demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.


Compensation:
Pay scale consists of Production Support III  $24.59-$31.40 DOQ
